Practice tools that are exactly right
A tuner that reads to a tenth of a cent, a metronome that never drifts, and a pitch monitor, spectrum analyser and tone generator. In your browser, on your phone or computer.
Needs a browser with WebGPU: a recent Chrome or Edge, or Safari on iOS 26 or later.
The tools
Each one opens in a moment and starts with a tap.
Tuners for your instrument
The tuner knows each instrument's strings and lights up the one you play.
Why Tunelight
Precise
The tuner measures the phase of the note itself, not just its period: a steady string reads to a tenth of a cent, and the low strings of a bass never jump an octave.
On time
The metronome places every click on its exact audio sample, for as long as you practise. The beat lights follow the sound, Bluetooth headphones included.
Private
The microphone is used only while a tool listens. The sound is analysed in your browser and dropped: nothing is recorded or sent.
Questions
Is Tunelight free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use, with no account and no sign-up.
Is my microphone recorded or uploaded?
No. The sound is analysed in your browser as it arrives and then dropped. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
How accurate is the tuner?
On a steady note it reads to a tenth of a cent, and it gets finer the longer the note rings. It never jumps an octave on low strings.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes: Tunelight needs WebGPU, which recent Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone and iPad (iOS 26 or later) have. On a computer, use a recent Chrome or Edge.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the tools start without a connection, and you can add Tunelight to your home screen.
