Privacy

Short version: the sound never leaves your device, and Tunelight does not track you.

The microphone

The tuner, pitch monitor, spectrum analyser and sound-level meter ask for the microphone only when you press Start. The sound is analysed in your browser as it arrives and then dropped: nothing is recorded, stored or sent. The microphone is released when you press Stop, when you leave the page, and after half a minute in a hidden tab.

No tracking

Tunelight has no account, sends no usage data, uses no analytics and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your settings and presets are kept in your browser only.

If something goes wrong

When the app stops because of an error, it keeps a short technical report in your browser and shows it next time, with a button to copy it. It is never sent anywhere.

Hosting

The website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes to download the pages and the app. Your sound is not part of them.
